Meet our Founder : Jason
Jason has been involved within the field of technology for over 40 years now, starting at the tender age of 9 when he began writing his first commercial computer game on the Commodore Vic20. By the age of 15 he had 6 published games across several home computer formats. Since that early entrepreneurial success, Jason has gone on to own and run several successful businesses & three individual franchises.
In 1998, in a departure from his normal IT background, Jason opened a large franchised American Diner. It became quickly apparent that the franchisor’s own systems were very weak, causing considerable stress and creating a huge workload. To remedy this, Jason spent the next 12 months studying and rebuilding every process from the ground up; only the franchised food menu was left intact. By the end of that 12 months, Jason had systemised himself out of the business (with a solid management team of 5 taking the day-to-day burden) and piloted the store to consistently place in the top 3 out of 60 national stores.
On hearing of his success, other franchisees began to contact Jason for advice on how they could achieve the same for themselves, as many of them were working 80+ hour weeks, and it was here that Jason found himself drawn into the world of business consultancy.
Over the following years, Jason developed and honed his skills in a variety of IT, management and consultancy roles. In 2004, he trained as a professional franchised Business Coach, adding more breadth to his already wide range of skills. Since 2007, Jason has specialised more and more towards commercial strategy, systemisation and web-based sales & software solutions. His passion for building and executing integrated IT sales & marketing systems, has made him a sought after SEO/SEM (Search Engine Optimisation & Marketing) and eCommerce expert. He also spent several years founding and building a new brand in the online learning industry, advising on careers and certification routes. During 2019, Jason moved into the boutique Due Diligence and Advisory space, working with major Private Equity & Venture Capital houses spanning all verticals around the globe.
Jason is in his mid-fifties and loves living in South Wales - on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. He now divides his time between managing several online brands and providing commercial consulting and advisory services. Since 2004, his brands have served well over 2,000 clients and hundreds of agencies across 20+ countries.
He explains, “Most business owners simply aren’t aware that there are so many effective ways of building and improving their businesses. They're often master technicians of their trade, but haven’t had the opportunity to see how others have developed the entrepreneurial and management side of things; like marketing, sales, customer retention, team building and systemisation. When you add automated IT systems along with the sales, marketing & brand building possibilities created by the internet into that equation, then you quickly open up a vast sea of opportunity for any business to develop further and faster than they often thought possible.”
